The only guarantee I give is that these code resources, (XCMD,XObject or Xtra), work on my Macintosh/Windows computers. You must assess the suitability and usability for your use. Licensing

There is no charge for using XObject/Xtras in the authoring environment. All XObjects are free to be used in a projector or other non-authoring situation. All Xtras require a license to be used in a projector or other non-authoring environment.

All XObjects are free of license costs - however you must credit me visibly in any work that uses them.
Commercial - $75 per platform per individual Xtra.(Changable without prior notice)
Charitable/Nonprofit - License will be granted free in exchange for a visible credit in any work the uses them.
Student - License will be granted free in exchange for a visible credit in any work the uses them.


Conditions of use

In this document XCMD/XObject/Xtras refers to files found within this web area, and me refers to Geoff Smith.

All rights to the XCMD/XObject/Xtras are retained by me. I retain the right to vary these conditions from time to time.

The XCMD/XObject/Xtras may be used in any Macromedia Director/HyperCard document for personal use. The XCMD/XObject/Xtras files may be given to your friends. All documentation must be included when passing on the XCMD/XObject/Xtras.

It must not be distributed for profit without prior permission.
It must not be distributed for profit within a presentation/program without prior permission.
It must not be distributed by CD-ROM without prior permission.
It must not be distributed as part of a collection without prior permission.
It must not be used in a public presentation without prior permission.

Basically, use it to make money, pay me; use it in your work presentations, pay me; else credit me.

 

These conditions can be changed at any time. Financial liability is limited to $1 or the amount paid for the Xtra. XObjects come without any liability. None of these software products may be used in mission critical or medical systems. All legal proceeding must be carried out under the auspices of the court of Santa Clara, California, USA.
